By using the Site or submitting information through our forms, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, discontinue use immediately.
You must be at least eighteen years old and capable of entering a binding contract to request quotes or enroll in a vehicle service contract. You agree to provide accurate vehicle mileage, maintenance history, and contact details. Misrepresentation may void coverage or result in claim denial under your separate contract documents.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not scrape, mirror, or resell Site content; attempt to bypass security; upload malware; or use automated tools that impose unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
Marketing summaries, calculators, and blog posts are educational. Only the executed vehicle service contract, schedule of coverage, and any amendments define your rights. Displayed prices are estimates subject to underwriting review.
Submitting a quote form does not bind you or ShieldDrive until you review and sign contract documents and pay applicable fees. We may decline enrollment based on vehicle age, salvage title, commercial use, or other risk factors disclosed during underwriting.
All repairs require pre-authorization unless your contract expressly permits emergency procedures. You must use licensed repair facilities willing to accept our payment processes. Failure to follow maintenance guidelines or to retain receipts may affect claim outcomes as described in your contract.
Logos, text, graphics, and software on the Site are owned by ShieldDrive or licensors. You may not reproduce materials without written permission except for personal reference or sharing links through social platforms provided on the Site.
The Site may link to repair networks, payment processors, or educational resources. We are not responsible for third-party content, privacy practices, or service quality.
THE SITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHIELDDRIVE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM SITE USE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR DIRECT DAMAGES RELATING TO THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR SITE-RELATED SERVICES IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
You agree to defend and indemnify ShieldDrive against claims arising from your misuse of the Site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution before initiating arbitration or court proceedings as permitted under applicable consumer protection laws and your vehicle service contract.
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
By providing your email address, you consent to receive electronic disclosures, policy documents, and service notices. You may retain copies by downloading PDFs from the member portal or printing messages we send.
ShieldDrive is not liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, cyber incidents, or government actions affecting repair networks.
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement regarding Site use and supersede prior oral or written understandings relating to the Site.
